Fire Prevention Week
October 4th - 10th is "Fire Prevention Week". This year's message: "Stay Fire Smart! Don't get Burned".
On Wednesday, your North Cedar Fire Hall members visited Woodbank Elementary School. We spoke to an assembly about being fire safe. The kids watched a 20-min video and we handed out 'fire smart' guides, which they took home.
No one plans for their home to catch fire, but knowing what to do, in case of fire, can save lives. Knowing what causes fires and how to prevent them, is even better.
