Regular Board of Trustee Meetings
The North Cedar Improvement District Board of Trustees hold regular meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 7 PM. (If a meeting falls on a holiday, the Board will post the new meeting date on the front page of this website - in the "NCID News" area).
These Board of Trustee meetings are open to the public, as provided by the following NCID Policy:
NCID Policy: Regular Meetings Open to the Public
The Local Government Act stipulates that regular meetings of the Board of Trustees shall be open to the public, and no person shall be excluded - except for improper conduct. With the exception of several clearly-defined matters, which may be dealt with by the Board of Trustees in an "In Camera" forum, all other business should be conducted in public.
No notice is required if you wish to attend a regular meeting, however, if you would like to speak at a meeting, you must notify the NCID office at least 8 days in advance (in order to be added to the meeting agenda).
No refreshments will be served at the meetings.
